Green Room Sessions: Warm Ones

This Green Room Sessions interview and live music session with Chicago's Warm Ones was taped Sunday, December 5, 2010. Warm Ones are playing live at Martyrs' this Friday with GRS alums King Sparrow and Secret Colours, along with local band Hollus. The show starts at 9 pm and tickets cost $10 (advance tickets available here), but until then, check out what the guys had to say about their music and whet your appetite with a couple sweet tunes from their album, Sprezzatura, arranged for guitar and iPhones.

Green Room Sessions: Darling

At long last, the Green Room Sessions interview and live acoustic session with Chicago Americana/experimental trio Darling sees the light of day...or something like that. It was taped Tuesday, August 24, 2010, and today is a special day for the band, as their debut full-length, Lights That Last Forever also saw its official release today. You can pick up the album in CD or cream-colored vinyl/digipak from the Cardboard Sangria Records website, or at fine local music retailers. Special thanks to band members Jeff Schneider, Don Ogilvie, and Nick Voss for taping the interview. Be sure to mark your calendar for their album listening party/DJ night this Thursday at The Burlington.
