New Time, Same Place

Hey! So Indiesomnia is moving to a new time slot (as I believe I mentioned before). The summer schedule has been finalized at the station, and I will now be on from 6-9 am on Tuesday mornings. Podcasts should continue to follow the show as scheduled, and I hope all y'all will wake up to me this summer! It's gonna be boss.

The new schedule kicks off this Tuesday, June 17, but in the meanwhile, here's one of my favorite clips by Jim Gaffigan:

Enjoy!

Cover of the Week Returns!

So after an approximately two-year hiatus (for those of you who knew me back at WPGU-FM in Champaign), I have begun once again to do a segment on my show that I like to call the Cover of the Week. In it, I play the original version of a song and a cover version of it by a different artist for your comparing/contrasting pleasure. This segment will start at approximately 5:10 am during each week's show (or about an hour and ten minutes into the podcast, if that's your thing). This week's show can be found here. The first ever COTW for my show on WHPK: "All Along The Watchtower" by Bob Dylan and covered by Jimi Hendrix. A good start, I think. The entire show's playlist follows. Take care, and see you next week!
