This Green Room Sessions interview with Chicago band Chew Heart was taped Sunday, August 22, 2010. The band discussed their new EP, Messy Snarls (out Tuesday, Sept. 14 but available now through In Timid Nation and other online retailers). The band is playing a FREE record release show tomorrow night, Sunday, September 12 at the Whistler. The show starts at 9:30 and is 21-and-up.The track featured at the end of the interview is "Western Mass" and appears on the Messy Snarls EP.

Very cool song and sound they have! I like Laura's 50's-esque vocal. Also, we keep hearing really awesome things about Gallery of Carpet where they recorded their EP. King Sparrow just recorded their album there too and they've only said great things about it.
