Moths Don't Get Stuck In Baths

Roy explains why everything Moss invents is worthless.

From The IT Crowd, another fantastic Britcom currently in production (youtube it!). You may recognize Moss (actor Richard Ayoade) from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and/or The Mighty Boosh (also good shows). There is talk of an American version a la The Office or (less successfully) Coupling. So we shall see about that, I suppose!

Taking Retro To Its Logical Conclusion

Because the past is in right now.

I love Vince's horrified look at the end when Howard mentions pencil cases!

From The Mighty Boosh, one of the weirdest and most awesome current television series.

The Hippy Horse-Jesus Connection...

Apparently they're a team...

I love the HAIR parody. Brilliant! (This is from the short-lived BBC comedy series "Hippies".)

May 13 Show Available For Download

I think this was a pretty good show, overall. Animal Sounds (the show right before mine) went way over into my show, so Indiesomnia doesn't start on this recording until 3:23. If that matters at all. Since I've mastered the html hyperlink, you don't have to copy/paste anymore into your browser to get it--simply click here, follow their download link, and the internet/s should do the rest! :)

Promoter's Ordinance Update

Good news! There was an amazing outpouring against the Chicago Promoter's Ordinance (which was to be voted on tomorrow) by people who support our local music scene. As a result, the Ordinance (at least as-worded) has been tabled, and the vote will not take place tomorrow. More can be read about the whole situation here.

Good work! But we should still all keep an eye open to make sure a future incarnation of the ordinance won't be as crippling to local music as the last one was.
